Summer 2026: Small Group Photography Lessons

Photo Club (ages 4-8)

Learn photography from ME, a professional photographer, and elementary school garden educator. (And a Mom of a six year old!)

These will be fun, hands-on sessions where children can learn simple photography skills while exploring and capturing their own images.

Session Details:

- Duration: 2 hours (10 AM – 12 PM)

- Capacity: Small Group (friends and family welcome)

- Ages: Approximately 4–8 years old

- Location: My shady backyard / San Jose, CA

- Supervision: Guided by me and an assistant

What We’ll Do:

- Participate in photo scavenger hunts

- Capture textures, shadows, shapes in nature

- Learn simple tips for taking great photos

- Take pictures using a wide angle lens vs. a narrow lens

- Print and share three favorite photos with the group

- Have fun, and learn photography at a relaxed pace

Cost:

Each 2 hour session is $45 per child. All materials, including point-and-shoot digital cameras, will be provided. (Your child is also welcome to bring their own camera).

August: 3, 4, 5
